Our projects focus on the youth in the context of the community and are aimed at alleviating poverty, stemming the spread of HIV/ Aids and supporting development initiatives.
We have adopted a straightforward approach that makes it possible for everyone to
play a role however small in improving living standards and expanding
capacity for self-reliance within the community.
Our vision on the long term is to have the following programs:
Organize leadership training schools for student and community leaders based on the truth of the word of God
Facilitate interaction between studentleaders in camps, seminars, outings etc.
Develop interactive Internet based programs for student leaders and other youth leaders.
Publication of journals, books and articles on leadership.
Our short term plans
Buy tents for renting so that we can have an income. The income will be used to establish a centre for youth where young people can make crafts and get training.
We intend to buy two ovens to increase the production of cakes
We also intend to train drama and dance. Together with the tents and catering services we offer it as a full package.
The slideshow below shows some pictures of the current situation in the slum, the oven and the people who make cakes.

Basic life training
This program offers practical, experience-based training to the youth.
It is ment to tackle issues unique to the particular environment in which they
live. Subjects addressed range from personal issues like education, dreams/ vision and relationships to issues that affect community as a whole like HIV/Aids and poverty.
The sole aim of 'Basic Life Training' is to build capacity for self-reliance so that young people take responsible decisions they have to take in their daily life. It intends to expand potential for personal growth. In this training we share lessons from our own life experience.
Projects under this program include:
Visits to high schools, colleges, universities and other learning institutions
Act as a facilitator for other organizations involved in youth advocacy and training
Organization of seminars and conferences to empower particular target groups within the community
Organization of sports events, community action days and other initiatives for the youth.
Development of interactive mass media/internet based programs for youth guidance.
